It’s been a week …

Update: this fundraiser has ended. Thank you so much for those who supported this cause. If you want to help please do it through Operation Blessing and Unicef

A week ago I started a fundraiser to help people affected by the earthquake in Ecuador … While it was a week full of prayer, tears and worry; it was also full of hope and solidarity. I’m so proud of every single Ecuadorian, near or far, we all worked together to do something for the ones affected by this tragedy and I’m so pumped to say that I was able to meet my goal and made $525 dollars from selling the Ecuador Strong poster, inspired in our precolumbian art and the KC Kauffman one, donated by my wonderful friend and designer Rafael Neri. Thanks for helping me give these people more than what I  could have afford alone. This morning I made the final transfer to Ecuador and every penny has been used to help kids with diapers and wipes and families that lost their house and were in need of food in Manabi and Babahoyo. I appreciate everyone that bought these posters and supported this cause. I will continue to sell this poster until April 30th. The reason being, is that Money Gram and Western Union are waiving transfer fees to Ecuador until May 1. Beyond that date, it would be really expensive to do wire transfers to Ecuador. However, you can still support families in Ecuador through Operation Blessing, Unicef and this gofund me account (I’ve verified it and its a legit one)

As of today April 24th,  more than 150K kids had been affected by this tragedy.654 have died, 200 are still missing and more than 16000 were injured.

There is so much you can do to help, below are some of the stuff we were able to do last week!
